About the 2023 Award
If you’re a Colorado resident, you might be familiar with 5280 Magazine’s Top Dentist Award. It’s a state-specific distinction given to Colorado dentists on an annual basis. Currently, Colorado is home to just over 3800 dentists, so the competitive pool is quite sizeable. This year, more than 900 dental providers were pulled from the topDentists database, which listed each provider based on their local listings and peer evaluations.
Award winners were selected after administrators reviewed the dentists under consideration by examining each nominee’s performance in the following categories:
- Dental experience
- Implementation of new technologies/methodologies
- Continuing education
- Relationship with patients
- Physical results
Additionally, each nominee was determined to be actively licensed and in good standing with the state’s dental board.
Among the dental professionals considered for 2023’s Top Dentist Award, the following disciplines were included: Endodontics, General Dentistry, Pediatric Dentistry, Anesthesiology, Oral Surgery, Orthodontics, Oral Pathology, Prosthodontics, and Periodontics.
