Hi, my name is Terrah! I have been practicing as a registered dental hygienist for the last 18 years and have enjoyed it immensely! I love that dentistry and oral health are such an integral part of a person’s overall health and happiness. I enjoy sharing my dental knowledge and I am happy to explain and help you understand treatment recommendations and diagnosis. The absolute best part of my job are the patients… over the years, I have formed close bonds with many of my patients and it feels nice to recognized as a caregiver they trust!

My husband and I both are natives of Colorado. We have a son and a daughter that are both very active and keep us on the constant go! During the spring time, you can find me out on the field coaching my daughter and her teammates a love for the game of lacrosse. As a family, we spend many weekends boating, snow skiing, and enjoying time at our family’s ranch in Steamboat.

I am proud to be a part of such a knowledgeable team so dedicated to providing our patients with up to date and comprehensive dental care. Everyday that I spend working alongside Dr. Woods and my teammates, I know that together we are creating and maintaining smiles that will last a lifetime. I can’t wait to meet you!

Assistant

Hello, my name is Danielle and I am one of Dr. Woods’ assistant! I’ve worked for Dr. Woods since he took over the practice in 2012. I’m originally from Michigan, but am proud to say that I have lived in the great state of Colorado for 27 years now!

I have three children, two grandkids, a dog and two cats. I love my family and I love animals! I enjoy hiking, walking my dog, and any outdoor work or activity that involved time with my loved ones.

I started my dental career in 2000, but took a break for a time to raise my three children. Now I’m back at it full swing, and love every minute of it. I enjoy getting to know our patients on a deeper level, and I consider them just an extension of my own family. I love hearing about what’s going on in their lives and being there for them in whatever capacity I can be. I also love doing cosmetic dentistry and seeing the end results… the transformation inside and outside is second to none. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi, my name is Karen and I get to be the person at the front desk who greets you when you come in. I coordinate your appointments, find order in the chaos of “sticky notes” and can be known from time to time to stir up some “trouble” in the office, I just have so much fun! I love to laugh, talk and work hard, so the front desk is a perfect fit for me!

I moved to Colorado from Chicago six years ago, and have worked for Dr. Woods the majority of that time. I have worked in dentistry for 20 years and continue to love the energy that it brings me! Everyday is different in the challenges and rewards that unfold, so it’s never boring. My career has always involved working for “relationship-based” private practices. Developing friendships, earning trust and helping improve people’s lives are the heartbeat of what we do each and every day, and what makes this job so special. There are many ways to make a difference in the world, and I consider what we do here a part of making that difference!

I love my new Colorado life, there are SO many exciting things to experience, adventures are waiting around every corner. Even the ever-changing, scenic skycaps and sunsets alone are reason enough to be happy. I have two grown sons who are a huge part of my life, and one of them lives here in Colorado! If I were to share a list of the things that make me smile, it would include: anything creative and messy, cooking, eating, great food, long walks, finding tiny mountain towns, outdoor activities, kites, sunshine and days filled with endless possibilities and surprises. Front Office

Hello, my name is Sarah and I am a Colorado native. I grew up in Westminster and while I love to travel all over the US and the world, I couldn’t imagine living anywhere else but here! I enjoy outdoor activities such as swimming, wake boarding, camping and skiing.

I have two young children who attend school here in Arvada. They keep me plenty busy outside work with their activities and interests as well. Fun fact… I am a certified wine sommelier! I’m fascinated by the history of wine and love to indulge in old or exotic bottles occasionally.

I am the newest member of Dr. Woods’ team, but I have been in the dental field since 2001. I began in general practice and have been fortunate to work in oral surgery and pediatric dentistry as well. My mom used to tell me to “stop looking at people’s teeth and look them in the eyes!” I was always so fascinated by teeth! I guess I just can’t help it, smiles are the first thing I notice about people and I love taking care of them. See you soon!
